A Message from Your Honorary Chairs

We are proud to welcome Pat Hume, Sacramento County Board of Supervisors, and Lucas Frerichs, Yolo County Board of Supervisors, as this year’s Honorary Chairs for Cap-to-Cap.

Our Honorary Chairs play an important role in supporting the mission of Cap-to-Cap—bringing visibility, leadership, and collaboration to the forefront of our regional advocacy. Supervisor Hume and Supervisor Frerichs bring valuable perspectives and a shared commitment to advancing policies that strengthen the Capital Region.

As we prepare to head to Washington, D.C., we are grateful for their leadership and partnership in helping this year’s delegation show up united and drive meaningful impact.

“Cap-to-Cap represents the best of what our Capital Region can do when we work together. It’s an opportunity to bring forward the priorities that matter most to our communities and advocate for solutions that strengthen our economy, infrastructure, and quality of life. I’m honored to support a delegation that shows up united and ready to lead.”

-Pat Hume, Sacramento County Board of Supervisors

“The Capital Region has a strong track record of showing up, working together, and getting things done. Cap-to-Cap is where those efforts take shape on a national stage. I’m excited to join this year’s delegation and help elevate the priorities that matter most to our communities.”

-Lucas Frerichs, Yolo County Board of Supervisors

Legacy Gala: National Air and Space Museum

This year’s Legacy Gala will take place at the renowned Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, bringing a new energy to one of the delegation’s most anticipated evenings with a Yacht Rock inspired celebration.

Rather than a traditional black tie event, the evening will be a more relaxed dinner with multiple food stations designed to create a less formal atmosphere where guests can move around, connect, and enjoy the evening together.

Guests can expect plenty of great food and beverages throughout the evening, along with a live Yacht Rock band in an unforgettable setting.

Lean into the Yacht Rock vibe with relaxed, coastal style. Captain’s hats, boat shoes, and nautical flair are all encouraged.
