Introducing: Melanie Cambrelen, Administrative Assistant

Hey everyone!

I'm happy to be a part of Hewson Landscape as an Administrative Assistant and it’s been a wonderful experience getting to know an incredibly hardworking team. I've been with the company for six months now and I'm enjoying the opportunity to learn and to contribute. As my experience grows, I’m hoping to be a successful addition to the team satisfying our consistent customers, supporting our dedicated staff, and assisting our inspirational boss…Ms. Shelly! The month of April brings a lot of special days with it…support those with Autism, tell a joke for International Laughter Day, take care of your environment for International Earth Day, shake your booty for International Dance Day! I will be celebrating National Pet Day, Easter Sunday, and Administrative Professionals Day. I hope you enjoy them too!

Bees

Bees play an indispensable role in our ecosystem, serving as vital pollinators that contribute to the growth of a vast array of plants, including fruits, vegetables, and nuts. Their tireless work not only enhances biodiversity but also supports agricultural productivity, ensuring food security for communities around the globe. Beyond their ecological contributions, bees produce honey, a natural sweetener with numerous health benefits, and beeswax, which is used in various products from cosmetics to candles. By fostering a healthy bee population, we not only protect our environment but also promote sustainable practices that can lead to a flourishing future for generations to come. Embracing the significance of bees encourages us to take action in conservation efforts, inspiring a collective responsibility to nurture and safeguard these remarkable creatures and, in turn, the planet we share. Last year we had the opportunity of installing 3 large bee gardens at an office site in Bayonne near the water. The success was so great, that the client is looking to expand these gardens this year, contributing to the ecosystem and enhancement of their property for visitors to enjoy.
