This book gives an insight into the activities and hopes of “Solidarity with South Sudan” and for the people of South Sudan, and it reflects on the new paradigm offered by this faith-based inter-congregational initiative of the UISG and USG.

Pope to visit South Sudan

With the Holy Father’s visit now confirmed, Pope Francis will be the first Pope to travel to South Sudan.

The Holy See Press Office statement says Pope Francis will be travelling to the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan on an Apostolic Journey in July.
