Dear Pirate Nation,

Shepherd ISD has started with a bang! First with our keynote speaker at convocation, Flip Flippen - the CEO of Capturing Kids Hearts. He delivered a strong message about caring for one another. Then on Monday of this week, we celebrated incredible accountability scores. Our district and every campus received a "B" rating from TEA. This feat is unthinkable and shows how hard the staff and students worked last year. We are elated to welcome you back to the 2022-2023 school year! It has already been a wonderful experience. I hope you enjoy your weekend and we will see you soon. Don't forget attendance matters! Help us live our motto, "Every Student, Every Minute, Every Day!"

Before the 2022 Graduating Seniors walked across the stage and departed Shepherd ISD for the last time, they were able to collect over 100 teddy bears.  The bears were then dropped off at the local Uvalde Community Library for any student that might need some comfort.

Shepherd ISD left thoughts, prayers, and a flag behind to reassure the town of Uvalde that they are not alone.  Shepherd ISD stands with and supports Uvalde.

The Shepherd FFA will be hosting our first blood drive of the year on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 8am- 2pm in the high school gym foyer. If you would like to sign up, please use the link provided below.
