Area 10 Officer Elections
It's impossible to watch the news these days, or even drive down the street, without being reminded of the upcoming state and federal elections. It is also election time for Area 10. Every two years, we elect a new chair-elect as the current chair-elect steps up into the chair position and the current chair becomes the past chair. The other officers are the secretary and treasurer who each serve a 4 year term. As those terms are staggered, every two years, along with electing the chair-elect, the members of Area 10 elect either a new secretary or a new treasurer. This year, we will elect a new treasurer. Kylie Johnson has been in that position for the past four years and we thank her for her contribution to and support of Area 10.

Please review the bio's of the candidates for chair-elect and treasurer. Members of Area 10 will receive balloting material via postal mail. Please make your selection and return your ballot by mail as quickly as possible. Who is a member of Area 10? Paid-up members of Handbell Musicians of America living in Area 10 are members eligible to vote for Area 10 officers.

If you are not a member of Handbell Musicians of America, we strongly encourage you to join and become active in the organization that works so hard to promote the musical instrument we all love so much.
