We have kept busy on improvements throughout the camp!
- Thanks to a donation from GAF, we were able to replace roofs on two buildings critical to our operation (food storage and ranger housing).
- We have added well controls to Camp Oest; this greatly reduces our electricity usage, while ensuring a constant safe water supply for events in that camp.
- We have been upgrading and installing exterior LED lights on our cabins. Many did not have exterior lights.
- We have upgraded all the lighting in our storage area, reducing electric usage by 84% while having brighter lighting in the space!
- We have built a firewood storage pavilion for easy use by our campers upon their arrival.
- We have started exterior work on our maintenance shop. Our camp staff have painted the exterior block. This work will ensure the building lasts a long time.
