From there we'll fly to Iguazu Falls for 2-nights where we will take tours of both the Brazil and Argentinian sides of the falls. We'll even get on a raft for an up close and wet thrill ride! You will be wowed for sure by the spectacular scene of mother nature at her finest.
Then we fly to Ushuaia, the southern most city in the world, where we will enjoy tours of the Beagle Channel, a train ride to visit the Tierra del Fuego National Park and tour Escondido and Fagnano lakes to enjoy the stunning beauty of these unique natural treasures.
Next up is El Calafate, the heart of Patagonia with tours of the glaciers. We will visit the Perito Moreno Glacier and walk down the catwalks to approach the Glacier and admire from different panoramic points this wonderful creation of Mother Nature. We'll take a boat ride to get up close to the glaciers. The next day we'll drive to El Chaltén and take a 4-hour trek along a footpath that goes through open thickets full of beautiful Patagonian flowers. We also have an optional boat tour that will take us to Lago Argentino's north part, where you will appreciate huge icebergs that have broken off the Upsala Glacier. The boat ride will bring us to a view point to admire three hanging glaciers: Peineta, Seco and Heim.
This is not an inexpensive trip as it includes most of the tours and internal air and great hotels over the 2-week period however we're confident that we have brought the cost down to much less than you will find anywhere else for a comparable itinerary.
