Important Dates for Arizona Primary Election:
- Early voting started: July 8, 2020
- Last day to request an absentee ballot: July 24, 2020
- Last day to request a mail-in ballot: July 24, 2020
- Last day to mail in early ballots: July 29, 2020
- Last day to vote early in person: July 31, 2020
- Election Day: August 4, 2020 (voters who do not mail back their ballot by the July 29, 2020 deadline have until 7:00 pm on Election Day to drop of their ballot at their Country Recorder’s Office or any ballot drop-box or voting location in the county)

House advances budget that would fund much of infrastructure bill
The House Appropriations Committee approved funding for a number of important environmental programs Friday as part of the FY21 funding bill for the EPA and DOI. The Act contains key solar and storage legislation that the solar industry has lobbied for in the midst of COVID-19, including an extension of the ITC, a direct pay option and a new ITC for storage.

Discriminatory rooftop solar charges may violate antitrust law
The U.S. Department of Justice has argued that in Arizona, a utility’s discriminatory charges for rooftop solar owners can be “unlawful.” The Center for Biological Diversity also supported the four rooftop solar owners whose lawsuit has progressed, arguing the legal significance of Arizona’s renewables goals.
