Local and National Updates
Renewables account for 57% of new U.S. generating capacity in first half of 2020

How the Energy Storage Industry Responded to the Arizona Battery Fire
Arizona Public Service’s battery fire could have slowed the U.S. storage market. That hasn’t happened. 64 mayors sign letter urging Congress to extend solar tax credits
A bipartisan coalition of 64 mayors, representing 25 states across the country, joined with Environment America to call on Congress to take action on clean energy, urging members to extend solar and wind energy tax credits; expand incentives for electric vehicles and energy efficiency; and create new tax credits for energy storage projects.
