AriSEIA's News You Can Use
September 25, 2020
Dear members,

It was a very busy week for AriSEIA and renewable energy policy in Arizona! In case you missed it, at AriSEIA’s request, and in light of the impacts of COVID-19, the ACC voted not to step down the RCP rate this year. Commissioners decided to take the matter up again next year. This means that new customers will continue to get the current RCP rates in UNS, TEP, and APS service territories until next fall at the earliest. You can read more about that decision here.

The Renewable Energy Standards were also up again all day yesterday at ACC, ended with no movement, and a suggestion they may come back on Monday with amendments that could get the three needed votes to move some things forward. Reporter Ryan Randazzo did a play by play of the meeting in case you're interested in reading his thread (just scroll down for yesterday's coverage).

We will keep you all updated, and please help us to continue to grow our membership as there's power in numbers (pun intended) :-).

At your service,
Nicole LaSlavic
AriSEIA Executive Director
