AriSEIA's News You Can Use
|
|
Good afternoon AriSEIA members,
It is my hope that everyone’s 2021 is off to a great start. For AriSEIA, we have been hard at work on behalf of the Solar Energy Industry and our members.
Since the start of the New Year, the Corporation Commission has sworn in the newly elected members of the commission, and elected Commissioner Lea Marquez Peterson as the new Chairwoman. The APS rate case is upon us, the Energy Rules continue through the process and our association is diligently working to compile our feedback on the Interconnection Manuals.
This week the legislature gaveled into session and as of this morning, there have been over 400 bills introduced. As legislation is introduced, AriSEIA will review and determine the impact to the industry and determine the appropriate course of action. We will keep you updated on these matters.
Please Register HERE for our upcoming Annual Membership meeting which will take place on February 5, 2021 at noon – 1:30 pm MST. More info below.
Lastly, each member organization's representative received an email last week for our Board of Directors election. The election period will run through January 28 at midnight. If you received this email, please make sure to vote. If for some reason you do not believe you received the email, please reach out to me so I may check our records and ensure your voice is counted. I can be reached at Nicole@ariseia.org.
At your service,
Nicole LaSlavic
AriSEIA Executive Director
