Discounted Solar Power International Tickets Available for AriSEIA Members
AriSEIA members can receive a 15% discount on tickets for Solar Power International , taking place September 23-26 in Salt Lake City. Climate Summit 2020
“Climate 2020: Seven Generations for Arizona” will be held at Northern Arizona University November 15-16. The statewide summit will bring stakeholders and experts from across the state together to discuss climate change, sustainable solutions, and more. Arizona Student Energy Conference (AZSEC) at Biosphere 2
The Arizona Student Energy Conference will be held at Biosphere 2 on November 13-15. The theme this year is "Creating a Low Carbon Future,” and AriSEIA President Brandon Cheshire will be speaking on a panel at the event. Click here to learn more.

Join us for our free solar networking event on Tuesday, September 17th. The networking event will begin at 5 p.m. Appetizers will be provided, and drinks can be purchased at the bar. This event is open to existing members, as well as anyone interested in renewable energy advancement in Arizona.

Kinect Energy/Banner Health Issues RFP for On-site Solar EPC Services & PPA Financing
Kinect Energy has issued an RFP for on-site solar EPC services & PPA financing for Banner Health. The Response Deadline is September 13. Click here to learn more. Please note that the utility service provider listed in the Banner Health RFP is incorrect. The correct utility is SRP (not APS).

Solar Industry Calls on FERC to Enforce PURPA, Increase Competition

The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) filed a proposal with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) that will address longstanding concerns with monopoly utilities by enhancing competition under the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act (PURPA).

2019 National Solar Tour Includes Every State for the First Time

The American Solar Energy Society (ASES) and Solar United Neighbors (SUN) announced the largest annual grassroots solar event will take place in neighborhoods nationwide the weekend of October 5-6. The National Solar Tour will empower people across the country to learn about solar technology and the process of going solar from their friends and neighbors.

Department of Energy Shows Wind and Solar Power Will Dominate Fossils

A Department of Energy report on wind energy showed nuggets of research on solar power – including a 280 GW interconnection queue and continued declines in pricing, as well solar’s encroachment on wind’s Midwest territory.
