Greetings!
The Colorado Solar and Storage Association (COSSA, formerly CoSEIA) conference in Denver, CO this week provided an opportunity to mingle with industry leaders from across the nation. I was invited to represent AriSEIA and speak on a panel joined by state SEIA chapters from Colorado and Utah. We shared how we are addressing industry policies and growth stumbling blocks through educational and networking events, partnerships with symbiotic organizations, as well as policy promotion and lobbying efforts directly with state legislatures. Panels throughout the conference for two days covered topics including battery storage, regulatory updates, community solar, and utilities of the Mountain West, and special guest speaker U.S. Senator Cory Gardner. I am especially appreciative of the over 150 attendees with whom I personally had a chance to discuss and share information about Arizona, many of whom are eager to participate in our own AriSEIA conference coming this Fall.
Stay tuned to these bi-monthly newsletters full of information proving that 2019 is an exciting year for AriSEIA with new members, new opportunities to mingle with legislators, fun and relaxing monthly after-work networking events, and so much more! Please also remember that your voice counts. We need to hear your concerns, your interests, as well as your ideas on policy. These contributions are all critical to AriSEIA’s growth and positive industry impact on our Arizona future.
