We encourage AriSEIA members and your customers to participate in Solar United Neighbors and Vote Solar’s  "I Love My Solar" Campaign ! The campaign is celebrating the 2 million+ solar installations in the country, and promoting solar policy by encouraging people to mail postcards to lawmakers. "SolarAPP" Campaign to Streamline Permitting Processes
The Solar Foundation's SolarAPP campaign will help streamline permitting processes for solar and solar+storage installations nationwide. Click here to learn more, and stay tuned for materials and information for AriSEIA members to help implement this easy, one-stop shop process across Arizona. These implementation materials will be ready by the end of the year, and we will keep you updated as they become available.

Defend the Solar ITC

The Investment Tax Credit is one of the most successful clean energy policies ever passed and has helped support a robust solar industry in the United States. Despite this massive success, the ITC is currently scheduled to begin stepping down at the end of 2019. Click here to sign the letter urging Congress to extend the ITC. 

Solar groups developing software to streamline PV permitting process

SEIA and The Solar Foundation are joining the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, several national residential solar companies, and other nonprofit organizations to develop new automated permit software for distributed solar and storage.

Study finds utilities routinely undervalue solar

Americans benefit from solar panels in important ways that are often overlooked by policymakers, according to “The True Value of Solar: Measuring The Benefits of Rooftop Solar Power,” a new study released by Environment America Research and Policy Center and Frontier Group.
