Arizona Updates
  Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) Updates
Proposed interconnection rules have been in the making for 12 years now, and are on the agenda for the Arizona Corporation Commission Dec. 17th, 2018 meeting. AriSEIA is excited to participate in this process, and we have filed this document into the Docket, asking the Commission for modifications that strengthen consumer rights, and pave the way for a more sustainable energy future in Arizona.

In other news, groups are urging the ACC to consider a mandate to expand biomass energy in the state, and a new report shows the potential benefits of increased plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) use. The ACC will consider both issues at open meeting on Dec. 17

  Tucson Updates
Earlier this month, Tucson Electric Power (TEP) proposed a plan which aims to make owning electric vehicles easier and more affordable.

  Salt River Project (SRP) Updates
Last week, Salt River Project (SRP) and Intel announced plans to collaborate on a 100-MW solar plant to be built in Eloy, Arizona.
