“There is more in you of good than you know, child of the kindly West. Some courage, and some wisdom, blended in good measure. If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.” - The Hobbit
A favorite of Mr. Pertuso - Headmaster - Aristoi Cypress
We hope these Voices of Virtue will encourage, inspire, and remind us all of the enduring pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty.

Summer Reading Lists
Before the first bell rings on Thursday, August 13, students are expected to read their assigned summer book and complete the accompanying assignment. Think of it as the perfect way to keep minds sharp while still enjoying all the fun summer has to offer.
Whether reading by the pool, on a road trip, or curled up indoors escaping the Texas heat, we encourage students to dive into their books early and pace themselves throughout the summer.
Happy reading, Griffins!

Stella’s Italian Adventure
This summer, Stella Nishikawa (6th grade) explored northern Italy with her family, visiting the beautiful Lake Como region, the canals of Venice, and the historic city of Verona. Along the way, she experienced Italian history, architecture, art, and culture firsthand while creating unforgettable family memories. It was an enriching adventure that brought history to life.
| | |
As we wrap up the final few weeks of summer, we hope you have enjoyed these summer snapshots. Feel free to continue to send photos throughout the year of your scholar enjoying the first day of school, memory-maker events, school productions, programs, and special teacher moments.
We look forward to sharing your photos. Please include student names, grades, and the title 'Cypress Students Snapshot' to marketing@aristoiclassical.org.
