January is School Board Recognition Month, and we are grateful for the dedicated leaders who serve Aristoi Classical Academy. Our School Board gives generously of their time, wisdom, and expertise to ensure our mission remains strong and our scholars are well served, often working quietly behind the scenes with great care.

We extend our sincere thanks to each board member for their leadership, stewardship, and commitment to classical education. Their vision and service help shape a flourishing future for our school community. Please join us in thanking the School Board of Aristoi Classical Academy for their faithful dedication.

Can You Spare $30?

Last year, the families of Aristoi Classical Academy stepped up and did something extraordinary. Together, we exceeded our $50,000 Year-End Appeal goal, strengthening our classrooms, supporting our teachers, and investing in the education we believe in.

This year, we ask our community to rise together once more. If every Aristoi scholar donated just $30, we would reach our goal again. Every family’s participation matters. When many give what they are able, the impact is lasting and far-reaching, and together we can continue building a strong future for our scholars and our school.

PTO Used Uniform Swap

Swap Rules:

• All clothes must be freshly washed
• All shoes must be recently cleaned
• All items must be in good wearable condition**
• Bring your own shopping bag
• Ensure all items meet the Dress Code
• Spirit Wear is permitted

**Good wearable condition: No holes, no missing buttons or broken zippers, no stains, not worn or faded from washes.

 Aristoi Players Spring Auditions

Auditions are now open for 5th and 6th-grade students for the Aristoi Players’ spring production, A Forest of Fairy Tales and Fables.

Fifth and sixth-grade auditions have passed. Callbacks for both grades will be on Wednesday, January 21.

All auditions will take place in the PAC, Room 205, and will run from dismissal until 5:00 PM.

We can’t wait to see our scholars bring these classic tales to life on stage!

Join Mr. Pertuso in the CrossOver Foyer for coffee and conversation on Jan. 23rd. This event will be held at CrossOver regardless of grade level and location.

Soccer Tryouts

Soccer tryouts will take place next week at the YMCA soccer fields for students in grades 5–10.

Girls Tryouts (Grades 5–8)

• Tuesday, January 21 and Wednesday, January 22
• 4:00–5:45 p.m.
• YMCA Soccer Fields

Boys Tryouts (Grades 5–10)

• Thursday, January 22 and Friday, January 23
• 4:00–5:45 p.m.
• YMCA Soccer Fields

Important: All students must have a current physical on file prior to trying out.

Aristoi Cypress Tennis Club

The Aristoi Cypress Tennis Club will run from February 2 through April 1, with practices held on Mondays or Wednesdays at 4:30 PM at the Steeplechase Community Center (11250 Steeple Way Blvd, Houston, TX 77065). Students will receive 8 tennis lessons with Coach Rod Royer for a fee of $112 per student. Space is limited and registration is first come, first served, so families are encouraged to sign up soon using the form linked below.

Letter to Household - Application for Free & Reduced

Aristoi Classical Academy is committed to ensuring all students have access to healthy meals. Families may qualify for free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch based on income or participation in assistance programs. This packet includes important information and instructions for applying.

New for 25–26: Students who qualify for reduced-price meals will now receive meals at no cost!

Before School Care Program

Please review school immunization requirements to ensure your child is properly immunized for the 2025 - 2026 school year. Note that required immunizations include the 7th grade immunization for Tdap and Meningococcal.

If immunizations are required for your student, you must turn in a copy of your student(s) shot record or a notarized Affidavit for Exemption of Immunizations to Student Care no later than August 12, 2025, the first day of school. Requests for an Exemption of Immunizations can be found here.
