Thanks to You, the Griffin Has a Home at Aristoi Cypress!

Thank you to our Booster Club who helped Aristoi Cypress to get a Griffin Mascot for our campus. Thank you too to all the families who generously supported the Booster Club's glow run during the past academic year. This Griffin Mascot was one of the many things your generosity helped to provide for our campus.

Carline Procedures

We are looking forward to the first day of school next week! As you prepare for Tuesday, we wanted to share a few reminders and updates regarding car line procedures.

General Information

*No use of cell phones in a school zone, especially during carline. Please refrain from texting, scrolling, and talking to keep our scholars, staff, and parents safe.

*Follow the designated routes and adhere to directives from Aristoi staff.

*Maintain an appropriate speed consistent with regulations for school zones and parking lots.

*Stay alert.

Morning Carline

Morning Carline begins at 7:25 AM and will end at the start of school at 7:55 AM. We understand that getting reacclimated to drop off procedures will take some time, so a grace period for tardies will be extended during the first week of school. Students will not be marked tardy until 8:15 AM. Beginning on Tuesday, August 19th, scholars arriving after 7:55 AM will be considered tardy, as per the Family Handbook, and will need to be signed in by a parent or guardian at the front desk. We will be closing the front doors at 7:55 AM to signal this transition as we start the school day.

  1. Entry will be limited to one entrance from Perry Road via the parking lot in front of the Lawson Center. Those coming from Perry via 249 will need to go to the Cypress North Houston traffic light and U-turn at the light to enter campus.
  2. Cones will be closing off sections of the parking lot and Perry Road. Additionally, the main road onto campus will be coned off.
  3. When exiting the campus, only right turns will be permitted. You will proceed through the right hand parking lot in front of CrossOver’s ministry center to exit campus. Access will no longer be possible to make an immediate left turn. You will need to drive up Perry Road and make a U-turn at a different intersection or at Mills Road.
  4. Once in the parking lot, you will follow the route to the front of the main building. Traffic will be separated into two lanes and will be indicated by signage and staff.
  5. Student drivers and those parking in the guest lot will follow the left hand route (yellow route) and proceed on the left hand side of the fire lane. Cars will then be directed to the appropriate lot.
  6. Regular drop off will follow the right hand route (blue route) closest to the sidewalk. Cars will be stopped, and scholars will be directed to exit their vehicles onto the sidewalk to proceed into the building.
  7. IMPORTANT NOTE: Scholars must exit all vehicles from the passenger side. Scholars may not exit a vehicle from the driver’s side, as this poses a safety risk.

Afternoon Carline

The afternoon car line begins by 3:25 PM. Cars will line up alongside the building as indicated in the map. Please keep the following in mind:

*No cellphone use during this time.

*Present car tag number to Aristoi Staff taking numbers in the parking lot.

*Keep your car tag number visible throughout the entire time of carline until your scholar(s) are in your vehicle.

*Follow the route and adhere to directives of Aristoi Staff.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: Scholars will enter all vehicles from the passenger side. Scholars may not enter a vehicle from the driver’s side, as this poses a safety risk. Additionally, you may not park in the carline, exit the vehicle, and reload. You will need to park in the guest lot, if this is needed.

Please remember that the first week of the afternoon car line will be much longer than usual, especially for the first day. Students will still be trying to remember the numbers. We ask for your grace and patience during this time, especially as the heat will make it challenging for our outside staff.

Thank you for your kind attention to the important safety details for the car lines. We look forward to a wonderful academic year.
