TSJCL State Convention Success
We are excited to share how well our students did at the Texas State Junior Classical League State Convention which took place at Bellaire High School on April 4th-5th. Five Logic students and nine Rhetoric Students participated in competition and fellowship with students from all across the state of Texas.
The Rhetoric School took home the 4th Place trophy for the Red Division (small schools). And we had some very impressive individual showings! Felix Owuyama took 1st Place for the Greek Derivatives test and Caleb Wilhite placed 1st for Greek History. Esther Slowey took 3rd for Dramatic Interpretation, which involves memorizing and performing a Latin passage. We had a student receive 3rd for his digital art submission. Also noteworthy is that all of our students who took the Pentathlon test (a mix of Latin grammar, culture, and history questions) earned distinction.
Most importantly, the students had a very good time overall! They made new friends, went to lectures, participated in athletic events, and we played a lot of board games.
Thank you to everyone for all their support! We couldn't have done this without the parents, especially Mrs. Henry, Mrs. Barnes, and Mr. Dayton, who cheered and chaperoned and kept us fed throughout the weekend. And thank you to the Athletics Department who lent us the van to transport the students.
Thank you for your continued support of our program!
Mr. Lorenz, Mr. Sipe, and Dr. Gruber

Yearbook Needs You!
The student-lead Aristoi Yearbook Club has been working on creating the yearbook since the beginning of this year. However, our high school scholars are not able to capture every event. To ensure all of the fun and memories made throughout the year are shared, please send your pictures to photos@aristoiclassical.org.
The yearbook, as tradition, represents Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric School (K-12).
Please list the campus and the event in the subject line of your email. It is also extremely helpful if you list the names of the students featured in the pictures, but not required.
We send thanks in advance!
| Please take a moment to read this letter from one of our Gala Co-Chairs, Paula Aguirre, and see why her family chooses Aristoi. | Just a quick reminder to download and save your photos using the links below—these will expire in two weeks, so be sure to grab them soon!
