Chess Champions

This last Wednesday was an exciting day for Aristoi Chess players. They competed in the Texas Charter School Regional Chess Championship. Sadly, the high school team earned 5th place, just missing out on state qualification by a fraction of a point. The 4th-6th grade teams excelled. Both of the 5th-6th grade teams earned team trophies in their respective divisions. Additionally, students across all five of our teams won individual awards in recognition of their strong performances and dedication to the game. Our middle school teams secured 1st place and will advance to the State Championship! Good job and good luck, Griffins.
