Health Screenings Have Started

Starting in September and running through November, Aristoi students will participate in health screenings during school hours. Health screenings are required by the Department of State Health Services for all public schools, including public charter schools. Please contact Student Care if you have any questions or concerns.

Screenings are as follows:

New Students, regardless of grade, and K, 1st, 3rd, 5th & 7th grade students will have Vision, Hearing, and Acanthosis Nigricans/Diabetes(AN) Screenings.

Spirit Week is This Week!

October 6th-9th

We are excited to celebrate spirit week with a week full of fun and Griffin pride. We encourage everyone to participate in the festivities. If your student chooses not to participate, he/she must be in proper dress code.

Please refer to the information below regarding daily Spirit Week themes:

Monday - Sports T-shirt/Jersey Day

Students may wear a sports shirt or jersey with jeans (no sweatpants or joggers) and tennis shoes.

Tuesday - Classical Hero or Superhero Day

Students may dress as a classical hero or superhero. Masks are not allowed. No inflatable costumes of any kind or leggings

Wednesday - Camo/Military Day

Students may wear camouflage or military style attire. Camo nets, masks, and Ghillie suits are not permitted.

Thursday - Color Day

7-12 scholars will wear their House shirts or a color shirt that corresponds with their House (Aristotle - green, Augustine - blue, Alighieri - red, Austen - yellow), jeans (no sweatpants or joggers), and tennis shoes; 5th-grade students will wear blue, and 6th-grade students will wear red.

Mum & Garter Reminder Policy

Students are welcome to wear their Aristoi Booster Club-made mums and garters on Thursday, October 9th. All mums must have been purchased through the booster club. Please feel free to email Mrs. McGaugh with any questions.

Climb Into the Classics – Character Dress Day

On Thursday, October 30, 2025, students are invited to dress as a favorite character from a classic story, poem, or history! Costumes must be approved in advance—please submit the approval form to the front office tray or to Ms. McGaugh by Wednesday, October 15. Decisions will be returned by Friday, October 17.

Some classic character ideas include: Christopher Robin, Julius Caesar, Sleeping Beauty, Robin Hood, King Arthur, or Queen Lucy. Costumes should follow casual dress guidelines, be school-appropriate, and exclude inflatables, leggings, and weapons.

Virtue Run/Walk Casual Dress Day

October 16th

If your scholar participated in the Virtue Run/Walk on September 20th, they earned a Casual Dress Day on October 16th. Please follow the Casual Dress Guidelines.

Spirit Night hosted by the 5th/6th Grade Booster Club on October 28th!

Be sure to mention the Aristoi Booster Club to guarantee proceeds go towards the booster.

The PSAT/NMSQT will be administered to all 10th & 11th-grade scholars during the school day on October 16th, beginning at 8 am.
