Katy Police Department U-Turn Ordinance

The City of Katy has approved a new ordinance prohibiting U-turns on the westbound lanes of Morton Road between Elder Road and Patna Drive. This change will take effect on April 17, with citations issued for violations beginning that day.

Drivers exiting the school and wishing to travel eastbound will need to use a neighborhood street to safely turn around before returning to Morton Road.

School Report Cards Now Available

School Report Cards (SRCs) provide families with important information about each campus, including academic performance, STAAR results, student growth, attendance, class size, and distinction designations. Due to last year’s delay in state release, both the 2024 and 2025 SRCs are now available.

Families will receive access to their campus SRC through regular school communications, and printed copies are available upon request. SRCs are also available online through the Texas Education Agency.

The School Report Cards can be found online at TEA School Report Card.  

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for (audience)? Why should they care (benefit)? What do I want them to do (call-to-action)?

Create a great offer by adding words like "free," "personalized," "complimentary," or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take action, so consider inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"

House Shirt Store – Last Chance Before Field Day!

The House Shirt Store is open for a final time from April 10–17, with all orders delivered to campus on April 23. Be sure to list your student’s name as the recipient when ordering.

Please note that students cannot be featured in newsletters, social media, the website, or other school publications unless these forms are on file.
