OVID-19 Reopening Update - Wednesday, June 10, 2020
To our ABT Family,
As we approach the three-month mark since halting operations following Governor Ducey's March 15 mandate restricting gatherings of 50 or more, we wanted to take a moment to check in with you and provide some updates. It is our hope that you've remained safe, healthy, and able to stay connected with friends, and family however possible.
In an attempt to engage with our audience during this extended "intermission," we created a number of daily programming options offered up via ABT's Facebook page (@ArizonaBroadway). From MAKERS-MONDAYS and crafting sessions with ABT Prop Master Mary Rooney to our weekly LIVE Friday Night "Quarantined" AFTER DARK CABARETS, your enthusiasm and engagement with these programs over the past 90 days have been uplifting. We hope you've remained...entertained!
We are working aggressively on plans for a phased reopening that will meet with Federal and State guidelines as well as all CDC recommendations. We are eager to get back on stage. More information about "when" should be coming within the next few weeks. At that time, we will also begin to address show rescheduling and dates. We realize this holding pattern is very frustrating for you, and we ask for your continued patience. We want to get back to producing the incredible productions you’ve come to enjoy, but we need you to hang on just a bit longer.
We recently sent out a survey with questions about reopening. Over 3,200 of you have already sent in your responses. Thank you. Your input has been invaluable. If you have not taken the survey, please
to do so.
This past week Executive Producer, Kiel Klaphake, spoke with FOX10's Stephanie Olmo about what reopening will look like and the planning taking place with the input of our community.
