Remembering Norman L. Knox
The Norman L. Knox endowment has been recently established with the Foundation. Norman L. Knox passed away April 27, 2020. He was extremely committed to the agriculture industry. He farmed cotton, alfalfa, small grains, corn, sugar beets and several varieties of native plants from seed for more than 50 years. Norm as many referred to him, was incredibly involved both in and out of the agriculture community serving on many boards. He was particularly proud to support FFA.

Cliff Saylor, past Arizona Agricultural Education/FFA Foundation President and friend of Norman shared, “Norm’s love for and support of the FFA was unquestioned. Having been an FFA member himself, Norm understood the lifelong benefits of lessons learned in Vocational Agriculture Education and the practical application of those lessons through the FFA. Norm truly believed in 'he promise of better days through better ways' as stated in the FFA Creed.” Read More

14 Jackets Away from Reaching Goal!
We are only 14 jackets away from reaching our goal to award 100 jackets this year to Arizona FFA members! In the past two years the Arizona Agricultural Education/FFA Foundation through the generous contributions of donors has been able to donate 176 FFA Jackets to FFA members from across Arizona!

The jackets will be on display at the 5th annual Blue & Gold gala and then distributed to students just days later at the Spring Conference. This state competition will be the first time the FFA member will be able to wear their very own FFA jacket as they compete.

Through a contribution of $75, you can help us reach our goal and be a part of making a positive impact on a students life.

FFA Career & Leadership Development
Career and Leadership Development Events develop college and career readiness skills. The state winning teams for those competitions which are recognized on the national level have the opportunity to compete in Indianapolis at the National FFA Convention.

Through Career Development Events and Leadership Development Events, participating FFA members are challenged to develop critical thinking skills and effective decision-making skills, foster teamwork and promote communication while recognizing the value of ethical competition and individual achievement.
