We’re almost into the holidays and that brings us to another Blue & Gold Gala! I know you may think that is a stretch, but the Gala is right around the corner. This year’s event is January 27, 2024, again at the Glendale Renaissance Hotel.
I hope you have your tickets because the event is SOLD OUT! Gala chair and President elect Farrah Smith and her committee are working very hard to have another great event for everyone! There are still sponsorships available although without seats.
And we are looking forward to another trap shoot in the spring but this time our event is at the Tucson Trap & Skeet Club on April 6, 2024. We are spreading out our two major events throughout the state. Now Southern Arizona can get in on the fun! We look forward to even more participation this coming spring.
Why do we work so hard to raise money? For our youth in the blue jackets! The Arizona Agricultural Education/FFA Foundation is dedicated to supporting agricultural education and the FFA in the state of Arizona. This year we have a record number of students enrolled in agricultural education with more than 12,000!
That takes a lot of money to make sure every student has the opportunity to participate in the Career Development Events and Supervised Agricultural Experiences offered. We also continue to raise funds through donations for scholarships ensuring our youth continue their agricultural education experience.
All of this is possible through the support of you, our donors. Whether you attend the Gala, the Trap Shoot, or donate online or at an event, or begin or continue a scholarship endowment, YOUR support matters!
