Arizona State Immunization Information System (ASIIS)
Applicable to: Mercy Care Complete Care, Mercy Care Long Term Care, Mercy Care RBHA and Division of Developmental Disabilities
Flu season is here and Mercy Care is reminding providers that, in accordance with Arizona Revised Statute A.R.S (A.R.S. §36‑135), all immunizations administered to children 18 years of age and under must be entered into the Arizona State Immunization Information System (ASIIS). This includes the flu vaccine. At a minimum, ASIIS requires monthly reporting, including the type of vaccine and the date it was administered.
To report ASIIS entries you may use the ASIIS Web Application for manual entries, or the ASIIS and Provider EHR Interface for electronic reporting. Additionally, ASIIS provides training and technical assistance to help you manage a successful immunization program.
