A note from the president

Friends,

Our #WelcomebackSTPL campaign is really kicking into gear, and I can’t tell you how great it is to see all of you back downtown (even as its been a bit sweltering of late). Last week’s Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra performance in Mears Park was magical; Big River Pizza rocked it on Saturday night; Jazz and Blues festival killed it on Sunday and again Wednesday; Trivia Mafia and live music at the Loon lit up 7th Place on Wednesday and Thursday – and that was just ONE WEEK!

A special thanks to everyone who came out last night to celebrate the formal kickoff of our #WelcomeBackStPL campaign and the return of Lowertown Sounds. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces including Deputy Mayor Tincher, Councilmember Noecker and Downtown Alliance Board Chair Chris Hilger, among many others. We had a great time despite the heat thanks to incredible performances from Chris Holm, Allie McIntosh and Lady Midnight. I want to extend a special thanks to our partners at One Simple Plan for bringing Lowertown Sounds back to Mears Park this year, we certainly missed it. Please check out WelcomeBackStPL for upcoming events as well as highlights for the week ahead down below.

The weeks to come show no sign of slowing down! Welcome back, Saint Paul.
