A note from the president

Earlier this week exciting news that's been bubbling for some time made its way around our virtual water coolers. While we're still waiting for an official announcement, it looks clear that our very own St. Paul Saints will become the Class AAA team for the Minnesota Twins. The positive impact for downtown can't be overstated and we can't wait to hear more of the specifics as they're announced, or to simply quote the Saints themselves - "big if true."

In other exciting news, several of our downtown partners were honored this week. Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce CEO B Kyle and Structural CEO Scott Burns were profiled as two of 2020's Most Admired CEOs, and SPACC VP of Economic Development Channon Lemon was named as one of the 50 Over 50 who are making a significant impact on their community. Congratulations to all and thank you for your continued leadership in downtown!

Finally, I'd like to invite you all to join me in a game of virtual bingo next Wednesday evening. For the first time, local bingo mavens BIZ-ingo will be hosting a special all Saint Paul edition of their hit pandemic pastime. BIZ-ingo cards are available with your take out order from participating restaurants and breweries starting Monday and running through game time Wednesday night.
