A note from the president
Greetings friends,

Earlier this week we had the chance to attend the Greater MSP Partnership Annual Meeting and hear about ambitious goals for the Twin Cities and the region for the next ten years. We heard from public and private sector leaders (including Downtown Alliance Co-Chair Mayor Carter and board members Andrea Walsh and Doug Baker) who represent varied industries but unanimously agreed that in order to thrive as a region we need to commit to inclusive growth.

Read on for more about MSP2030, events coming up in downtown like Equity on Ice and others, and be sure to enjoy the warm up we're expecting this weekend!

See you all around (down)town,

Greater MSP Partnership rolls out regional ambitions with MSP2030
Earlier this week at their Annual Meeting, the Greater MSP Partnership unveiled the first three of what will be a total of nine big regional goals for the next ten years. Our entire region has seen tremendous growth over the past ten years and by setting ambitious goals, along with the strategic initiatives that will accompany those goals, we can increase our competitive edge and work to fill in some of our gaps. The Downtown Alliance is proud to work alongside the Greater MSP Partnership to meet these goals in downtown, because as we all know - when our region works together, we become greater together.
