A note from the president

It was an exciting week for the Saint Paul Downtown Alliance! This past weekend we had the Red Bull Flugtag extravaganza featuring downtown Saint Paul to the global Red Bull audience. There was a sold out show at the X, and a street party along West 7 th . Then Sunday evening, the Knight Foundation announced exciting new investments in downtown, including a gallery at The M. The foundation, endowed by the Knight brothers in part due to the success of institution now known as the Pioneer Press, has done so much for Saint Paul (and downtown in particular). was incredibly proud to have our work at the Alliance recognized with a significant investment as well.

Before I sign off, its worth calling your attention to the information about the continued upgrading of our streets and sidewalks below; celebrating the great work of the Full Stack initiative; and congratulating our own Saint Paul Saints – we wish them the best of luck in the championship series!

See you all around (down)town,
