A note from the president
Hey friends,

Today's a big day for the City of Saint Paul, as we get to hear Mayor Carter's budget priorities for 2019. While budgets and numbers can seem like dry content for a speech, we all know that behind each budget are people, innovation, and a course for the future. I encourage you to attend the address at Washington Technology Magnet School at 6 p.m. to learn more about the future of Saint Paul. In the meantime, read on to hear more about Central Station's new community manager, an amazing headliner at Music in Mears, and a fun opportunity to learn from some Leadership Saint Paul alumni.

See you all around (down)town,

Joe Spencer

Meet Central Station's community manager
If you see a friendly face in an orange shirt at Central Station, say hello to our new Community Manager! Christian Huelsman joins us after serving on the Livability Team for the Minneapolis Downtown Improvement District. He'll be on site to answer questions, build relationships, and ensure the site continues to be a safe, clean space for all who use it.

Aby Wolf takes the stage at Music in Mears
Local singer and songwriter Aby Wolf will be gracing the Music in Mears stage tonight in Lowertown. Be sure to head over for some great music after Mayor Carter's Budget Address.

Join Leadership Saint Paul Alumni for a Master Class
Alumni of Leadership Saint Paul are hosting a Master Class on August 16, where you can learn how the City of Saint Paul, new initiatives, and organizations are helping entrepreneurs create innovative ideas and spaces to explore their creativity.
