A note from the president
Friends,

It's been a wonderful week of Twin Cities collaborations.

First off I want to offer a huge congratulations and heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in making Twin Cities Startup Week such a success. It was a whirlwind week of events that highlighted the boundless talent and innovation of our two cities. To everyone at Full Stack, Osborn370, The 428, the Glen Nelson Center, Launch Minnesota and the countless other organizations and individuals - well done!

Second, I want to thank the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce and Minneapolis Regional Chamber for another successful InterCity Leadership Visit to Boston. It is a truly special opportunity to not only be able to travel to other downtowns to learn about what's working there, but to do so with so many of our own movers and shakers.

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. If you're like me and entertaining kids over MEA, consider checking out the new and improved Omnitheater (more on that below!).

See you all around (down)town,

Joe Spencer

Second Annual SPACC Equity Summit
After a wildly successfuly inaugural event last fall, the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce will host Equity Summit II next Thursday, October 24. The all day event is an opportunity to dig deeper into the personal perceptions and motivations that are foundational to us as individuasl and will include breakout sessions, networking and remarks from Acooa Ellis Lee, Chris Hilger, Marcus Owners, Jeff Aguy and more. Space is limited but still available.

Multi-million dollar upgrade at the Science Museum
Downtown Saint Paul has always been on the cutting edge of technology thanks to the presence of a world-class science museum right in our own backyard. And this week the Science Museum of Minnesota unveiled a brand new, state of the art Omnitheatre experience. The digital laser projector is only the third of it's kind in the world. For those of us who loved seeing the old projector in action as you walked into the theater, fear not - it will soon become part of the museum's permanent collection. Congratulations to the Science Museum for this huge accomplishment!
