Greetings,

Halloween is just around the corner, and we are excited to see our Artesia community come alive with costumes, decorations, and trick-or-treating fun!

As families head out to enjoy the festivities, we would like to remind all residents to use extra caution when driving through the community on Halloween night. With an increased number of children and families walking throughout the neighborhood, everyone's safety is our top priority.

A Few Friendly Safety Reminders:

  • Slow Down: Please drive slowly and remain alert, especially in residential areas where children may be crossing the street.

  • Watch for Trick-or-Treaters: Children can be excited and unpredictable. Be prepared for little ones who may suddenly step into the roadway or cross between parked vehicles.

  • Stay Alert: Avoid distractions while driving, including cell phone use, and keep your full attention on the road.

  • Use Extra Caution at Intersections: Be mindful of pedestrians at crosswalks, stop signs, and neighborhood intersections.

  • Make Yourself Visible: Parents and trick-or-treaters are encouraged to carry flashlights, wear reflective accessories, and use sidewalks whenever possible.

  • Supervise Young Children: Parents should accompany younger trick-or-treaters and remind children to look both ways before crossing streets.

Let's work together to make Halloween a fun, memorable, and safe evening for everyone! A little extra patience and awareness can go a long way in keeping our neighbors safe.

Wishing all our Artesia residents a safe, spooky, and Happy Halloween!

Office Closure:
Please note that the Artesia Association Office will have adjusted hours this week. On Thursday, October 29th, the office will open at 10:00 am due to an off-site meeting. Additionally, the office will close early on Friday, October 30th, at 3:00 pm. We appreciate your patience and understanding and apologize for any inconvenience these temporary adjustments may cause.

Sincerely,

Heather Bordner-Ayyob

Community Manager I hayyob@ccmcnet.com

Early Voting Reminder:

Early voting is currently underway at the Artesia Clubhouse.Residents are reminded to expect increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic throughout the voting period.

Your Tree’s Life Could be at ‘Stake’.

Tree stakes should be removed after one growing season (usually about one year), or once the tree's root ball is stable enough to hold it upright on its own. A good test is to grab the trunk and give it a gentle shake; if the root ball stays in the ground, the stakes can be removed. It's important to remove stakes and ties promptly to prevent them from damaging the tree or causing stunted growth.

Trash Can Reminders:
Under our Declaration (Section 7.36), trash cans may be placed at the curb starting at dusk the evening before pickup and must be brought back in by dusk on pickup day. At all other times, please store cans out of view from the street and neighboring homes, such as in the garage, behind the fence, or behind approved screening. Thank you for helping keep Artesia looking its best.

Mobile Amenity Access

System Restored & Registration Simplified!

We are happy to share that our mobile access credential system is back up and running! Association staff can once again process new registrations and make updates to existing accounts.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this temporary outage may have caused and appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while we worked with our vendor to restore service.

To make things even better, we have also simplified the amenity access registration process! Residents now only need to complete one convenient form to request their mobile access credentials, making the process quicker and easier.

Once your registration has been submitted and approved, you will receive an email from Open Cesamee with instructions to activate your mobile credential. Please allow up to two (2) business days for processing.

Thank you again for your patience! We are excited to have the system operational and look forward to making amenity access a smoother experience for our Artesia residents.
