Summer 2019
A Message from Board President, Paul Cardell

As the days warm and families adjust to their summer routines, we have a lot to look forward to in the coming season at The Arc of Chester County. This summer, we're excited to continue offering our lifetime of services to people with disabilities and their families in Chester County and the surrounding area.

While we're looking forward to the summer, we're are also excited to tell you about our last month of activities starting with our May 19 th Arc Achievement Walk, Run and Fun Day, Title Sponsor WSFS Bank. This was a record-setting day with the event raising $100,292.95 for The Arc's programs and services. 340 individuals registered for the day. We were so glad to welcome so many people and businesses from the community to the event.

On June 19 th, we held our Annual Meeting as well as a reception for our loyal donors and volunteers. We had a great time celebrating our donors and volunteers for the important partnership that they provide in enabling us to provide the programming and services those we serve rely on. We also installed our FY 19-20 Officers and Directors and look forward to working with them and the returning Board members in the next year.

As my time as President of The Arc's Board of Directors comes to an end, I'm proud of what we've accomplished and have enjoyed getting to know so many of you. I'm looking forward to continuing to work to advance our mission as the Immediate Past President and Chair of the Development Committee.

As always, I look forward to seeing you around The Arc sometime soon,

Paul

Walk, Run and Fun Day 2019
Thank you to everyone who came out to our Walk, Run and Fun Day on May 19th, 2019. Our Title Sponsor was WSFS Bank, and this year's event was record-setting with over 340 registrants and $100,292.95 raised for The Arc!

Throughout the morning, attendees enjoyed music from DJ Kevin Welde, donuts from Fractured Prune, and a photo booth. New this year was our Bubble Walk, which included bubble machines placed along the walking course for participants to enjoy as they completed the walk. We look forward to this event next year and plan to have even more bubbles!

We thank everyone who participated and look forward to next year's event!

2019 Annual Meeting and Reception
Annual Meeting and Loyal Donor and Volunteer Reception

On June 19th, The Arc of Chester County held it's Annual Meeting and Loyal Donor and Volunteer Reception as a way to recognize those who make contributions to The Arc of Chester County.

The Arc of Chester County recognized and honored our loyal donors and volunteers in memory of Ruth Wood and Agnes Grady Chesko. This year, we thought it would be appropriate to honor our loyal donors and volunteers for their philanthropic generosity and volunteer contributions.

Several individuals and families spoke about the meaningful impact this group has had on their lives.

In addition to this celebration, our Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Officers and Directors were installed. We look forward to continuing to further our mission under their leadership and the continued and incredible dedication of the staff, members, and partners.
