Achieve with us!
The Arc of Chester County was established by visionaries with incredible empathy, kindness and an unwavering commitment to equity and inclusion. It has been the resolve and generosity of thousands of people, foundations, companies, and organizations over the last 70 years that has enabled The Arc of Chester County to become one of the leading providers of services and programs for individual with disabilities.  Each year, The Arc works diligently to raise private donations to cover the gap between what our participants and their families need to live a quality life and what is covered under the government's waiver system. Events like the Annual Bubble Walk & Fun Day, and efforts like our Achieve with Us Annual Appeal and numerous grants that are written and funded each year help provide critical budget revenue to cover the operational cost to properly provide for the 3,000 plus participants served by The Arc annually. This year’s goal of $750,000 is within our reach and we invite those that have not yet supported our important work to join our philanthropic efforts. Register to attend the Annual Bubble Walk & Fun Day or donate to the Achieve with us Annual Appeal. Every donation counts and collectively makes a meaningful difference in the lives of individual with disabilities and their families. The Arc of Chester County will celebrate its 70th Anniversary through 2022 and it will be the continued and on-going kindness of others that will ensure The Arc remains an important organization 70 years later. Achieve with us and support The Arc of Chester County with a donation today!

With gratitude,

60 Years of Learning and Growing Together!
The Arc of Chester County’s Preschool is one of the only classroom-based inclusive early intervention private programs in Chester County serving both children with and without disabilities. Our inclusive and nurturing preschool is part of The Arc’ Children's Early Learning Service Program (CELSP). It was started in 1962 and 60 years later, remains the longest running Arc program helping thousands of children to reach their developmental milestones. Check out a few of our kiddos in action and hear how our parents feel about the care and progress their children are making at The Arc of Chester County!

Urgent: Pennsylvania is facing a Direct Support Professional Crisis...
Pennsylvania has had a Direct Support Professional (DSP) workforce crisis for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and those who love and care for them for over a decade. Add a pandemic to that existing DSP workforce crisis and you have a disaster. Direct Support Professionals are leaving the human service industry in record numbers because they are unable to earn a wage that allows them to pay their bills. Outright Gifts are gifts of cash, check, credit card, or from donor-advised funds (DAF) and/or pledges that are paid over a fixed number of years.
Appreciated Securities - in the form of stocks, bonds, securities, annuities, or other tangible property such as real estate, artwork, vehicles, etc. provide immediate support.
Bequests – in writing a will or living trust, where you specify The Arc of Chester County as the beneficiary of all or part of your estate can provide a legacy of your support.
IRAs & Qualified Retirement Plans – where you make a gift from your IRA or designate The Arc of Chester County as the beneficiary of your required minimum distribution or the remainder balance of any retirement fund.
Life Insurance – which is an economical way to give a larger and more lasting gift without drawing on your assets now or depleting your estate by designating The Arc of Chester County as the beneficiary of all or part of your life insurance.
Planned Gifts - such as Charitable Gift Annuities or Trusts which are partnership planned gifts that benefit you and The Arc of Chester County today and in the future.
