Good morning, COG Family. As we continue forward, I pray that we can hold our heads high in our confidence that God is in control. At the same time, I pray that we kneel and bow our heads in prayer daily to God. There is power in prayer and God's children should not overlook what He can do in any circumstance.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
1 John 5:14-15

Serving Meals to Our Community
COG has partnered with Colorado Baptist Disaster Relief in an effort to feed those in our community a to-go lunch. We started serving meals on April 1st and will continue serving meals as long as we have the means to do so.

How can you help? Great question! We need volunteers to be on site to help direct traffic and fill other positions as they come up. We are currently working Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 am until around 2 pm unless meals are all served before then. If you can volunteer your time during the month of April, please email me your name, phone, email, and days, and times you can help out. Thank you for those who have helping so far!

Thank you fore helping COG be the BEST church FOR our community!

Easter Baskets for our Community Kids

Since our Easter Eggstravaganza has to be postponed, we are making Easter Baskets for 100 kids in our community! Parents can sign kids up for a basket today and are welcome to pass this sign up on to people you know who live in the area. We will also be advertising to the neighborhoods surrounding the church.  The baskets are free for families and our hope is that this is one way we can encourage each other and show the kids we love them and are thinking about them even though we can't get together right now.

We would love to have help with the cost of the baskets so we can offer them free to our community! Each basket costs us $10 including the basket, grass, eggs prefilled with candy and toys (bubbles, wristbands, cross necklace, silly putty, etc), an Easter story coloring book, a small stuffed animal, a tract and a note from COG. Plus each basket will be wrapped in a large plastic "bag" and tied at the top so it is clean and contained during delivery. We hope to deliver the baskets on April 11th.

If you have a need for a basket for a little one in your home, you can sign up here . Feel free to pass this on to friends or neighbors who live in the COG area and might want a basket. The link will stop working when we have reached 100 baskets, so don't delay!

If you would like to help with the cost of the Easter Baskets, there are a few ways to do that:
**go to our church website online giving page -- choose "Easter Baskets" in the drop-down menu**
**write a check and mail it to the church or drop it in the mailbox at the church**

If you would like to help deliver baskets, please email Nancy directly.

Thank you for helping us with this ministry opportunity! We are excited to reach out to our community in this way.

Hope for Nicaragua Collection Drive

Thank you to everyone who donated clothes, flip-flops, toys, hats, shoes, baby bottles, etc. to Hope for Nicaragua.

This mission team brings hope to the people of Nicaragua by providing medical, dental, and veterinarian care, but more importantly they bring Christ’s love and God’s Word. Each person (man, woman, child) who visits the clinic will receive one gift. Your generous contributions will bring joy to over 500 people.

Thanks!
