Good morning, COG Family!
I pray that everyone in our COG family is healthy and doing well. I wanted to take a moment to remind you that the staff is here if you have a need. You can email us with prayer requests, physical needs, praises, etc. We are still meeting weekly and we are faithful to pray for our church family.

If you are in a LifeGroup, I hope you are using this quieter time to make meeting with your group a priority in your week. One of the main reasons for our LifeGroups is being there for each other during difficult times. There is comfort and strength in getting together, even virtually. If you are not in a LifeGroup, this is a great time to join and get connected in a different but real way. If you are interested in receiving more information you can check out our LifeGroups webpage or email me directly.

I also want to throw out a challenge to invite your friends to join us on Sunday mornings for worship. It can be intimidating for people to come to a new environment, meet new people, go through a new process. With us being online, there is no risk to those who join us. Send your friends our website link and explain how to get online with us. Reach out to them and encourage them to join us.

I look forward to seeing you all online this Sunday.
Blessings,

Pastor Chris

On Saturday, May 16th, COG came together (at a distance) to recognize and celebrate two of our staff members graduating from Gateway Seminary. Though the ceremony was brief, it was great to see so many of our church family together.

Joel Bundick – Doctor of Ministry
David Finton – Master of Divinity

Congratulations to David and Joel on their graduation from Gateway Seminary!
Community Lunches
God is good! We finished serving community lunches on Friday last week. We were wondering if we would be able to serve at all due to a weather forecast of 80% chance of rain. We prayerfully plunged forward with serving meals deciding if we could only get an hour in, we would be able to bless for an hour.

The weather held off until we served our last meal of the 488 total for the day. We were able to wrap up the equipment as the rain started to fall. Over the month of April and half of May, God enabled us to serve over 5,000 meals with a presentation of the Gospel in each meal, provide nearly 200 Bibles, pray with numerous people, and provide a kind word to everyone who came.

The Colorado Baptist Disaster Relief team was great to work with. They came early to prepare food and stayed late to clean up at the end of each day. The COG volunteer base was incredible as well. I cannot get over the great attitudes and eagerness to serve.

Thank you to everyone who helped in any way with this mission. I am eager to see what God puts in front of us next. If you feel God is speaking to you about something we can do for our community, let us know.

Blessings!
