Good morning, COG Family!
It finally feels like spring is upon us. Flowers are blooming, the birds are singing, and the grass needs to be mowed. What is missing? Gatherings in parks, cookouts with friends and family, and just going out and about in the great weather. The current normal is very different from what we expected our spring would look like. We did not foresee holding Sunday services online or LifeGroups and youth meetings virtually. Though different than what we expected, it is no surprise to God. What we had planned and what God has planned are not always the same. We need to trust that God has our best interest in mind at all times. Prayerfully ask for understanding in our situations and circumstances.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
     and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
     and he will make your paths straight.
Psalm 3:5-6

I trust that God has us in this situation. He wants what is best for us always.

Blessings,

Pastor Chris

Serving Meals to Our Community

God is good! For the month of April, COG partnered with Colorado Baptist Disaster Relief to serve meals to our community. In those weeks, over 3,500 meals were served, countless loaves of bread were given, and roughly 145 Bibles were provided to those who wanted one. We were blessed to be able to talk with hundreds of people each day that meals were provided. We were able to pray with many and let them talk about how they were doing.

God has blessed this effort in bringing CBDR to our area by providing volunteers, providing funds, and providing the opportunity to allow us to be His hands and feet. I thought we were done with meals last week, but God provided a way for us to be able to continue serving meals the first week of May. We are waiting to see if additional funding comes through for us to keep going.

If you are interested in helping, email me .

Thank you to the CBDR team and COG volunteers for all the hard work!
Israel 2021 ! Long story short... the COG Israel trip for 2020 has been moved to June 2021. That means that if you were not able to go in 2020 and you can go in 2021, you can sign up and join us.

This trip promises to be a once-in-a lifetime experience. If you would like more information,  email  Pastor Chris.
