Hello COG Family! I pray your week is going well.
Now that we are into October, all of the LifeGroups are up and running. The display boards are still up in the back of the sanctuary with details and contact information on each group. With ten LifeGroups that meet on various days of the week, you have plenty of options. Take a few minutes this Sunday to check them out.

Please see below to keep-up-to date on COG activities. Reach out if you have questions or want more information.
I look forward to seeing you Sunday!

COG Celebrations
Titus 2 Women
On September 28th, the Titus 2 Women came together to catch up from the summer break. They brought in sewing and cross-stitching to work on while discussing future projects. On October 26th at 9:30 am in the North Building, the group will be cutting fleece scarves for the homeless. They would love for you to join them. If you are interested in learning more knitting, crocheting, sewing, etc., reach out to Rhonda Mott for more information on the group.
The Justice Run

Community of Grace joined with nearly a thousand runners and walkers in an effort to raise awareness of and aid in the fight against human trafficking by participating in the Justice Run on September 28 th . Seven runners from COG took on 5K and 10K courses winding through the Hudson Gardens and along the Platte River. Community of Grace runners even brought home some medals! We’d love to send an even bigger team to the event next year, so watch for announcements in the bulletin and newsletter as the next race nears.

Spotlight
Freedom in Christ Jail Ministry

The Freedom in Christ Jail Ministry is a ministry that goes into our jail system here in Colorado, sharing the Gospel to those inside, sending correspondence while inside, and mentoring upon release. Their purpose is to remind those in jail that they are never forgotten by God, no matter what and that He loves them. This ministry serves male and female adults as well as youth who are also in the system. They serve by singing worship, bringing the good news, praying with each inmate, and encouraging each to be hopeful for their future in the Lord. The mission statement of this ministry is "We seek by God's grace to be a light to those in darkness."

Anita Hammond has been a part of this ministry for nearly a year and has seen first-hand the impact this has had on many individuals. If you would like to know more about this ministry or possibly get involved, reach out to Anita directly. Thank you, Anita, for your work reaching out to those who are often forgotten.
