When things don't go as planned, you make a new one!
As much as we think we control things, we actually don't. As life teaches us, when plans are interrupted we respond in many different ways. Emotion with action are what forms the response to the "unplanned". We really don't truly know what's around the next corner of each moment we are in.
When we are caught off guard, we can only hope there is a calm regrouping with an underling hope that we can trust a greater plan than what had been anticipated.
I (Kim) have found that walking things out based on ONLY emotion or control doesn't usually end well for me. Lack of sleep and similar is the fruit of that response. However, when I take the time to listen and follow the still small voice in my stillness, it is there I find my way and my rest in any new, unplanned transition.
How do you find your peace, rest and your way during the unexpected?
