Saying Goodbye to a Friend

It is with sadness that we share that Roy Borgmann has passed away. Roy and his wife, Marge, started volunteering at the House in 1987 as Guest Services Volunteers on Thursday afternoons at our Limestone Street location. For many years, Roy and Marge also played Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Holiday Open House. He will be missed.
YMCA Day Passes Now Available

YMCA Day Passes are now available for registered guests at our Limestone Street location. These passes can be used to gain entry to classes, programs and equipment for an individual or a family at the Irsay Family YMCA at CityWay at 430 S. Alabama Street.

Families with questions or who would like a pass should speak to the Manager on Duty.

Help Deserving High School Seniors Afford the Education of Their Dreams!

RMHCCIN is seeking volunteers to participate in our annual scholarship review. Since 2008, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana has awarded more than $800,000 in scholarships to high school seniors who have demonstrated academic achievement, leadership and community involvement through our RMHC Scholarship Program. Each year RMHCCIN receives numerous applications and volunteers are needed to help evaluate candidates on established criteria, including: academic achievement, personal statement short essay, leadership involvement and commitment to community service. Application screenings will take place mid-March through early-April. Evaluations will take approximately two hours to complete and can be done from the convenience of your own home or office.

To be a part of this rewarding opportunity, please contact Savannah Ball at (317) 267-0605 ext. 209 or at [email protected] no later than Wednesday, March 7.

Look Who Was Caught Rolling Out The Red Carpet

Mary Friend, Volunteer Resources Manager, caught Cathy Plump and Carolyn McMahon, Master Gardeners at Limestone displaying cooperation, communication and teamwork.

Mary wrote: "Cathy and Carolyn eagerly took on a project to host a group of children from the IUPUI's Center for Young Children at the House. They gave the kids an opportunity to tour our gardens, learn a little about gardening and even plant some seeds. Thank you for helping and hosting our neighbors."

Thank you Cathy and Carolyn. You are appreciated!

Congratulations! Your Crew Carwash pass is in the mail.

Remember, if you catch a volunteer rolling out the red carpet and providing an excellent family experience, please submit a nomination using the form below. Printed copies of this form are also available in the front office at both Limestone and Riley. Each month, all nominations are eligible for a random drawing for a Crew Carwash pass.
