Around the Square                                        May  2019

Kennett Square welcomes the marvelous month of May by kicking off a new season of the community's favorite events. Find all the ingredients for your own farm-to-table meals and make a new season resolution to buy local, eat healthy, and enjoy getting to know your local farmers and producers! Historic Kennett Square's First Friday Flea Market also begins a new season on Friday, from 5-8:30 p.m. on State Street across from the Farmers Market. Shop vintage, reclaimed, and handmade artisan goods from new and returning vendors.  Square Pear Gallery's new show "The Subtlety of Spring" opens this Friday as well.

On Saturday, bring the family to Anson B. Nixon Park for the 24th annual Trout Rodeo. On Sunday, Casa Guanajuato Kennett Square hosts the colorful, family-friendly Cinco de Mayo Festival celebrating Hispanic art, music, dance, and food.
