The Clinton Girls' Powerlifting team delivered six podium finishes on Wednesday, February 11, competing at Oxford High School and finishing third.

- Rheagan Baker — 3rd place
- Allison Herron — 1st place
- Kennedy Williams — 1st place
- Samiya Wilks — 2nd place
The Lady Arrows return to competition on February 28 at the MHSAA Region 2-7A North State Meet in Oxford, as Clinton continues its push towards the State Championship.

The Clinton Public School District has four students who have recently had a Wish granted or hope to have granted soon.
The CHS Anchor Club is selling t-shirts to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Mississippi.

All orders are due Friday, February 27, and all money must be received by Wednesday, March 4.
| | Winter Guard, Percussion place first | | On February 14, Clinton JV Winter Guard, Clinton Varsity Winter Guard, and Clinton Percussion all placed 1st in their respective classifications at the Neshoba Central Indoor Winter Guard and Percussion Competition. Each group will continue to compete at various local competitions leading up to State Championships happening in Oxford, MS at the beginning of April. | | The Alternate Diploma classes at Clinton High School recently completed a Canva-to-T-shirt project where students learned basic Canva skills and created original T-Shirt designs. The students then completed heat transfer transfers under close supervision, with staff assisting as needed; each student received a personalized T-Shirt or bag and gained practical skills in digital design, file export, transfer prep, and safe equipment use, along with increased confidence and teamwork. | | |
Child Find is a service required by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). It helps identify, locate, and evaluate children from birth through age 21 who may need early intervention or special education services. Early identification helps children get the support they need to succeed.

I adore teaching for numerous reasons. One of my favorite parts of being a teacher, however, happens outside the walls of my classroom.
Serving as the Anchor Club sponsor gives me the opportunity to help students grow as responsible citizens. I encourage my students to contribute to both our school and our local community through service, leadership, and involvement.

The Board of Trustees meet on the second Tuesday of every month.

The Clinton High School Women's Softball team opened their home slate with a dramatic ending, walking off the Brandon Bulldogs, 12-11, Tuesday night in a back-and-forth, non-district contest at Clinton High School.
Clinton improved to 3-1 in a game that featured 23 total runs, 26 combined hits, and momentum swings throughout the seven-inning battle.
The Lady Arrows continue their non-district slate, hosting the Florence Lady Eagles at CHS. Junior varsity game starts at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 6:30 p.m.

Baseball falls to Northwest Rankin
The Clinton High School Baseball team were limited to one hit Tuesday night as the Northwest Rankin Cougars claimed a 6-1 victory at Arrow Baseball Field.
Clinton returns to action Friday night, hosting the Petal Panthers at 7 p.m.

Girls Basketball clinches No. 3 seed
The Clinton High School Women's Basketball team delivered when it mattered most, defeating the Oxford Lady Chargers, 49-44, in overtime of the MHSAA Region 2-7A Tournament third-place game Friday, February 13, at Oxford High School.
The extra-time victory marked the 16th win of the season and, more importantly, secured the No. 3 seed out of Region 2-7A. With the win, Clinton (16-13) will travel to Southaven on Friday, February 20, to face Region 1-7A runner-up DeSoto Central in the first round of the MHSAA Class 7A State Playoffs. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.

Lady Arrows fall in PK heartbreaker
The Clinton High School Women's Soccer team battled through 110 scoreless minutes Friday night before falling 5-4 in penalty kicks to the Tupelo Lady Wave in the second round of the MHSAA Class 7A Playoffs at Renasant Field.
In a tightly contested postseason showdown, neither side found a breakthrough in regulation or overtime as defensive heroics and poised goalkeeping highlighted both teams' performances.
The Lady Arrows finished the season with a 14-6-3 overall record and secured second place in MHSAA Region 2-7A with an impressive 8-2 mark in district play.

Archery on target over Warren Central
The Clinton Archery team didn't post its highest numbers of the season, but it was more than enough to secure a commanding victory over Warren Central on Thursday, February 12, at the CJHS Gym.
Clinton takes the next week off before entering the final stretch of the regular season. The Arrows travel to Vicksburg on February 26 for a road rematch against Warren Central, then return home for the regular-season finale against Pearl on March 5 at the CJHS Gym.

Clinton Cheer announces tryouts
The Clinton Cheer program announced its official tryout schedule and important deadlines for students interested in joining the 2026-2027 cheer squads on Monday, January 12.
Tryout packets will be available beginning February 2 and can be picked up at each student's school front office (Lovett, CJHS, Sumner Hill, CHS). Completed tryout forms must be turned in to the front office no later than 4 p.m. on February 20.

The Clinton Athletics Department would like to remind fans of important Arrow Field and Clinton Public School District (CPSD) athletic facility guidelines.
These policies apply to all athletic facilities operated by CPSD, including Arrow Field, the Clinton High School and CJHS gyms, Arrow Baseball Field, Arrow Tennis Courts, and Lady Arrow Softball Field.
Facility Guidelines:
- Students will not be allowed to bring backpacks in the stadium, gymnasium, or fields.
- Adults may bring necessary bags such as diaper bags and other necessary bags
- Children and students in 8th grade or below must be accompanied by a parent or adult to enter the facility.
- Adults supervising students are responsible for student behavior during the event.
- Anyone failing to follow these facilities guidelines will be asked to leave the game and premises.
Let's continue to make Arrow Field and all CPSD athletic facilities a safe and family-friendly environment for all fans.
