Meet the Teacher Day scheduled for Clinton Campuses

Meet the Teacher Day for all campuses but Northside is scheduled for Thursday, July 17. Northside will hold their Meet the Teacher Day on Wednesday, July 16. During this time all PreK-12th grade students will have the opportunity to meet their new teachers and to receive their schedules at their designated campus.


Campus Times for Meet the Teacher: 

  • Clinton Park—July 17, 8am-2pm (Come & Go)
  • Northside—July 16, (Appointment only, set up by teacher)
  • Eastside—July 17, (Appointment only, set up by teacher)
  • Lovett—July 17, 8am-12pm & 1pm-3pm
  • CJHS—July 17, 11am-1pm & 2pm-6pm
  • Sumner Hill—July 17, 8am-12pm
  • CHS—July 17, 8:30am-11:30am (Sophomores); 12:30pm-3:30 (Juniors & Seniors)

NOTICE: Last Chance Effort to Prove Residency

Parents and Guardians who have not proven residency prior to Meet the Teacher Day have one last chance to do so in order for their student to receive a schedule and to avoid having to prove residency on the first day of school.


Those still needing to prove residency will be able to do so from 9:00am-1:00pm on Wednesday, July 16 at CPSD's Central Office located at 201 Easthaven Drive.


Parents and guardians must complete the online portion of registration prior to proving residency.


Parents and guardians must bring a Photo ID as well as a lease, mortgage, deed or homestead exemption document accompanied with an electric, gas or water bill. All documents must be dated within the last 45 days.


Parents and guardians must bring physical copies of required documents. There will be no on-site printing available.


Those proving residency must provide proper photo identification showing the physical address of where the parent and student reside.


The address on the photo identification MUST MATCH THE ADDRESS of the home and utility bills with which the parent or guardian is proving residency.

Students whose parent or guardian has not completed the online enrollment process or who have not proven residency by 1:00pm on July 16, 2025 will not receive their schedule on Meet the Teacher Day.


Those who did not prove residency by July 16, 2025, may do so on Monday, July 21, beginning at 8:30am until 1:00pm at CPSD's Central Office to prove residency and ensure the enrollment process is complete.


Upon completion, students will be assigned a teacher and issued a schedule at their respective school.

School supply lists for students in grades Pre-K through 8th Grade for the 2025-2026 school year are available online. Click on the button below to access the list for your student's campus and grade.

Elementary schools to kick off year with staggered start

The Clinton Park, Northside and Eastside campuses will start the school year on a staggered start on July 21 and July 22.


This is to help ease the transition of the start of school, allowing students to get acclimated to their new classroom and their teachers.

 

Students with last names starting with letters A-K will attend on Monday, July 21.

 

Students with last names starting with letters L-Z will attend on Tuesday, July 22.

 

All students will attend on Wednesday, July 23.

Meal prices set for the 2025-2026 school year

School meal prices for the 2025-2026 school year will not change from the previous year.


Student lunches are $3.00 for a complete meal with prices for an adult meal now $4.00.


Prices for a student breakfast will remain $1.90. Adult breakfasts are now $2.50.


Students receiving meals at a reduced rate will not see an adjustment in cost. Reduced student lunches will cost $0.40 and reduced student breakfasts will cost $0.30

  • Clinton Park* — 7:10am-7:45am
  • Northside/Eastside* — 7:10am-7:40am
  • Lovett — 7:30am-8:00am
  • CJHS — 7:30am-8:00am
  • Sumner Hill — 7:30am-8:00am
  • Clinton High School — 7:30am-8:00am
  • Clinton Success Center — 7:45am-8:15am


*Car riders at Clinton Park as well as Northside/Eastside must be in cafeteria no later than 7:30am.

CPSD's District Calendar for 2025-2026 school year

The Clinton Public School District kicks off its second year following a modified calendar aimed at implementing strategic periods through the academic year to allow for focused academic review and student enrichment.

CPSD Board meeting scheduled for July 15

The Clinton Public School District's Board of Trustees will hold its monthly meeting at 6:00pm on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in the Central Office Boardroom.


The Board of Trustees meet on the second Tuesday of every month.


These meetings are open to the public.
