Teacher Targets Blog

The Ultimate Goal and the Intentional Journey

By Elliot Rimmer

November 11, 2025

Leadership is not about demanding that others go where you think that they should go; it’s about uplifting the vision of others to see they are capable of going farther than they ever believed, and recognizing most importantly that if we go together, we are stronger for it.

So by all means, set the destination, but keep in mind that it is not simply a destination that makes a journey worthwhile, it is the steps we take to get there and the company we keep along the way.

Integrating Culturally Responsive Teaching to Support ESL Students and Promote Learning

By Natalie Nguyen

November 4, 2025

Growing up as a minority student was difficult for me without any strong role models who represented me. Representation is so important, especially at a young age.

Representation in a general education classroom is vital because it builds my ESL students’ confidence, exposes my remaining students to different cultures, and encourages them to learn to love and accept them.

More "Teacher Targets"

The Clinton Public School District has a tremendous staff of educators that possess an immense amount of knowledge through research and experience.

The Teacher Targets Blog allows that vast depth of knowledge to be shared with other educators and stakeholders.

Lady Arrows use late run to advance to 4-0
