CPSD uses Zonar for transportation notifications

Parents with students riding the bus to and from school have a new method of keeping up with their child in the morning and in the afternoon.

Clinton Public School District’s Department of Transportation is utilizing The Zonar App that allows parents to keep track of their student’s bus via GPS.

Parents and guardians can download The Zonar App on both Apple and Android devices through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

In order to utilize the app, parents will enter the CPSD School Access Code, CLI3627. Parents and guardians will then search for their student’s bus route.

Once that information is inserted, parents and guardians will need to enter their student’s Student ID number.

For any questions or concerns, parents and guardians can email transportation@clintonpublicschools.com.

Teacher Targets: A Blog by CPSD Teachers

When Teachers and Parents Work Together

Stephanie Morgan
Clinton Park Elementary School

In my nearly 28 years of teaching, I have learned that one of the most important parts of having a successful school year is building a strong relationship with my students’ families.

I truly believe that when teachers and parents work together, our students benefit the most.

We each see different sides of a child. Parents know their child in ways that I never can, and I get to see them learn, grow, make mistakes, overcome challenges, and discover new things each day.

The Case for Writing by Hand

Technology has opened doors that previous generations could only imagine. It absolutely has a place in education. If you walk into my classroom, you probably won't see a single MacBook in sight.

Instead, you'll find something that looks much more like the classrooms I sat in as a high school student: notebooks open, pencils moving, and an almost constant reliance on pen and paper.

Catch all the "Teacher Targets"

The Clinton Public School District has a tremendous staff of educators that possess an immense amount of knowledge through research and experience.

The Teacher Targets Blog allows that vast depth of knowledge to be shared with other educators and stakeholders.
