Bankruptcy

Last week we made a pretty big announcement about the National BSA Bankruptcy. Just to reiterate, Scouting will continue. The Baltimore Area Council is financially independent from the National office. I know that there are a lot of question circulating. Don't let people spread misinformation. Study the facts, explain the situation, and show them how Scouting is helping their community! Check out THIS website. Camp Cards

Need more money? Who doesn’t?!? I have just the offer for you! Camp Cards are an easy non-risk fundraiser to help fund your unit. The cards have awesome deals from Dick’s Sporting Goods, Ledo Pizza, Safeway and more! You can sign up your unit HERE

Friends of Scouting

Our 2020 Friends of Scouting campaign is now in full swing. This year we have an updated Family FOS goal of $57,200. We aim to reach this goal by April 15 ^th. This money will help to provide Scouting to kids throughout the Arrowhead District and is crucial to the strength of our program. It will take an effort from the whole district to get there!

So far, we have raised $29,258 of our goal which puts us at 51% of our Family goal. We are off to a great start, but March will be our biggest month yet.

Camporee

For the first time we will be holding Camporee at Broad Creek! That means we will be able to do shooting sports and use the rock wall! Sign up HERE so you don't miss out on the adventure!

Camperships: Don't let the cost of Summer Camp affect your child's ability to go to camp! We offer discounts to our Scout's in need. You can apply for a campership HERE. These are your FOS dollars at work!

Scouting For Food

The Baltimore Area Council has collected food for local food banks and pantries as part of the Scouting for Food civic service project for many years. Scouting for Food has grown into the Boy Scouts of America's largest single-day community food drive, collecting 45 million pounds of food donations.
