After a week of extremely high heat, it was an absolutely beautiful day at Arrowood with nice breezes.
The course was closed for all of May and June due to having to replace all of their greens due to a chemical situation that killed them all. While there were a few stitches here and there as the greens continued to recover, overall the course was in very good shape. Challenging as ever!
There were 23 of us who came out to play at this Northern county venue. Always a favorite for many of us, and we always enjoy it. The challenge of The Quandary!
Our Game of the Day was "Criss Cross," which is the best score of Hole 1 or 10, 2 or 11, etc.
We also played a fun side game, called "The Quandary", with the best net score of the last four holes.
The 1st Place winners received a $20 Golf Mart Gift Card; the 2nd Place Winners received a $10 Golf Mart Gift Card. The Quandary winners received a $10 Golf Mart Gift Card.
