The University Museums exist to celebrate the diversity of our cultural heritage and through art, teach critical thinking and generate dialogue that helps to build an inclusive campus community.
Topics that relate to current events will be presented and attendees are encouraged to bring other discussion topics with them with a goal of generating understanding in a safe, inclusive and inspiring space.
This month's discussion will include the censorship of the arts, especially as it relates to the current debate of confederate statue removal.
Art + Issues will be held Monday, at the Christian Petersen Art Museum, located at 1017 Morrill Hall. We'd welcome you and your voice. While reservations are not required for this free event, please sign up and share here.
