DSLBD wrapped up its most successful Art All Night ever in late September 2019, with more than 110,000 people coming out to D.C.'s Main Streets to enjoy an evening of art and culture. And, now there's even more reason to celebrate Art All Night...
We are proud to share that LINK Strategic Partners, a DC Proud strategic communications firm – and Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) – has been awarded a 2019 Platinum MarCom Award for Event Photography for its DC Art All Night entry! These international awards recognize excellence in marketing and communications while recognizing the creativity, hard work and generosity of industry professionals.
LINK was brought on by DSLBD to manage marketing and public relations aspects for the city’s biggest art celebration, which took place in eight different Main Street neighborhoods on Sept. 14.
The stunning photography from the 2019 event uniquely captures the spirit of the event, highlighting the diverse and eccentric culture that is the DC arts community. Under Mayor Bowser’s leadership, this all-night event has grown to become one of the top 10 overnight arts festivals in the world.

About Art All Night
Rated as one of the world’s top-ten overnight arts festivals, the annual event attracted more than 110,000 attendees, featured activations by over 1,000 local artists, and raised more than $2 million in revenue for local and small businesses.
In accordance with the movement for DC statehood, the city commissioned a one-of-a-kind, interactive art installation for the night. Members of the public were invited to write what statehood meant to them on wooden panels cut in the shape of each of the city’s eight wards. Local artists then hand-painted each of the boards, which were then connected into a single piece spanning over 20 feet tall and demonstrating the unity and uniqueness of the District.
